WHERE ARE YOU BASED?
Home for me is Charleston, SC but I travel quite a bit for weddings and shoots! Don't let distance keep us apart, all of my collections list travel fees for the U.S.- I'm easy that way.
DO YOU INCLUDE SECOND PHOTOGRAPHERS?
I DON'T KNOW IF I NEED ONE OR NOT.
I have shot many of my weddings solo and feel super comfortable doing so. I offer seconds in some of my packages but I don't think they are necessary for everyone! If you're having a larger wedding (150+ guests) and/or there are multiple locations in your day (getting married at venue A, but your reception is at venue B) then I'd suggest adding on a second photographer. We can talk specifics about what might be better for your wedding!
DO YOU HELP US WITH OUR TIMELINE?
We can talk about your timeline at any point during your wedding planning, and I love helping you put these together! I'll make sure the photo logistics fit well with the timing of your day.
HOW LONG AFTER THE WEDDING WILL WE RECEIVE OUR IMAGES?
I know you are anxious to see them and I am just as anxious to get them to you! I will send you sneak peeks the week after your day while I work on the full gallery. I deliver your images in 6-8 weeks after your wedding, if not sooner! You will receive all digital files through an online gallery where you can share with friends and family as well as order prints if you wish.
DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?
Oh yes, some venues require that I provide a COI (Certificate of Insurance), if so just let me know and I can get that to them asap.
WHAT IF MY FIANCE AND I ARE AWKWARD
OR HATE TAKING PHOTOS?
I get this a lot! And I don't expect you two to know what to do in front of the camera. I give you just enough direction without disrupting the natural energy between you both.
DO YOU BACKUP OUR IMAGES AFTER OUR WEDDING DAY?
Yes, I do not mess around with this. As soon as I get home from your shoot, I back up to two separate external hard-drives and a storage cloud.
HAVE YOU EVER SHOT AT OUR VENUE BEFORE?
DOES THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
Even if I haven't shot at your specific venue, it doesn't matter - I promise! I travel and shoot at new places all the time! So I'm familiar with where I'll be shooting that day, I usually show up 30 or so minutes before my coverage time starts so I can scout locations for your first look, bridal party photos, family photos, etc.
CAN WE MEET BEFORE I BOOK YOU?
It's always nice to put a face (or even a voice) to a name! If you are local to the Charleston area, I would be happy to sit down with you both over coffee. But I am always available for a phone or video chat!
WHAT IS THE PROCESS SHOULD WE DECIDE TO MOVE FORWARD?
I'm ready whenever you are! I'll send you a contract to review and a link to put down the 30% non-refundable retainer. Everything is online which makes it super easy for all of us.
CAN I ADD ON ITEMS TO A PACKAGE AFTER I HAVE BOOKED?
Of course! You don't need every detail figured out so far in advance. The packages I give you can be added onto at any time during your planning process. Add-ons could be an extra hour or two for wedding coverage, a second photographer, an extra session, or an album.
